WOW, Was April really my last post ! Must make a bigger effort to keep this updated.

Poker wise for me has been fairly quiet, not been playing to much lately to be honest. Between golf,work and family I always seem to be struggling for time. When I have been playing most of my poker has been STT's on the Boss network. Playing mainly on Virgin and Paradise on the $5 and $10 games and slowly building the bankroll.

Had a month off recently when we went to Florida, took the laptop but did not play any poker at all. A nice relaxing break with plenty of beer and 50oz steaks !!!!!!

At the moment also trying to qualify for the Virgin Poker Festival in Brum in November so fingers crossed I do manage to qualify, already a load of PL'ers qualified.

Well it's been a quiet couple of months for me. Been really busy at work and spending time with the family so poker has pretty much taken a back seat. The other thing I am finding is I am struggling to get motivated playing online at the moment, just not the buzz that playing live gives. In August I am in the USA for 3 weeks and when I get back I am going to try and play live at least once a week.

Other resolution is to keep this blog better updated.

Have 2 weeks off from work now and sitting here chillin with a beer and quite fancy a game tonight, the Punters Lounge focus game is the Betfred Premier League so will probably give that a go and then just have a general look round and see if anything else takes my fancy.

Well not posted for a while due to work etc, not really played to much poker to be honest.... however now off for 2 weeks........hoo yah

Have experimented a bit with cash tables and been doing ok, not making mega money but have increased my bankroll slowly, the main poker I have been playing is STT's and to be honest I think this is where my strengths are (despite the last couple of months on the spodds STT league!!!!!)

Any way gonna get a beer, chill out and play a bit of poker so will update further over the next few days.

Big news for me was being asked to be a moderator on PuntersLounge.com I am honoured to have been asked and had no hesitating in accepting. Its strange how a website can become a big part of your life !!!!

Poker wise not a lot happening. Been playing mostly STT's and slowly building the bankroll up, Fulltilt poker and SportingOdds are where I mainly play for STT's and its been going ok.

Did start having a go at the SportingOdds STT league and made an ok start getting up to 7th in the league but a horrible run wiped out the profit and now I think I will have to wait till Novembers and start again.

Tonights PuntersLounge league game is Omaha hi/lo and having never played it before I thought I would go over to the play money tables on Betfred for a bit of practice, 10 minutes in and i hit a hearts Royal flush ! Thats 2 royals in 2 weeks now !!!!!!

Well I've had pretty much a week off from poker, partly to do with work but to be honest mainly to do with last Saturdays PartyPoker Million Monthly final. It started off with nearly 8000 entrants and to gain entry to the main final you needed to finish in top 1000 which would have given entry to the main event plus $400.

The night started off well, dealt KK 3 times but only got action once which doubled me up. Played some good solid poker and got up to about 25k when average stack was only 10k and number of entrants was steadily going down.

Then went totally card dead and as the numbers went down even further so did my stack. TBH I know it was partly my own fault, I tightened up far to much (the $400 would also have been a new personal best for me as well) and eventually was left with about 1025 people left and sitting on just 6k with the big blind (8000/4000 blinds) next. Dealt 55 and go all in only to be called by 10 10 and no help. out in 1019th !!!! Totally gutted is an understatement, To be so close and then mess it up gave me a major downer !

Congratulations to GaF and Staffy who did qualify and hopefully I will still see you there in the big one !







The PL HEADS UP TOURNAMENT has now ended with Rosco as a worthy winner, to get through a field of that quality takes some doing !! WELL DONE

Just a little side note, I helped organise it and many thanks must go to Betfred for providing the tables. GaF helped me out immensly, I would have been stuck without his help and advice and yet he still found time amongst all his other stuff to help and advise me. GaF you really are a PL LEGEND !!!! Big big big thanks to PL SLAPDASH who dontaed £300 of his own money to provide the prize fund ! as I posted earlier mate just saying thank you seems a bit inadequate, it was an incredible gesture and appreciated by all on PUNTERS LOUNGE.


Well I'm now off till Wednesday so its time to forget about last weekend and try to get back in the groove, good luck to all and see you on some final tables.........

A very brief history, I have been playing poker for about 18 months now. My initial outlay was about £70 spread across several different sites and since then I have not had to make any further deposits and my bankroll has increased, I'm not by any means rich ;-( , but it does mean I can keep on playing poker with other peoples money !

Just about every day I can be found on PuntersLounge.com which is a fantastic site and full of great advice and very knowledgable players and also some VERY big winners. Its not just about poker, PuntersLounge has a section on just about any sport/event you can think of.

With this blog I intend to update it as frequently as possible with the highs and lows of my poker.

Hopefully a great result in this Saturdays PartyPoker Monster Monthly Final. Qualified through an STT then made the top 2000/5000 in a weekly final so fingers crossed for this Saturday. Currently 5000+ registered and need to place in top 1000 for a cash finish and place in the Monster grand final where the prize pot currently stands at about $12,000,000
